Puglia Cheese was born in 2010, producing the first BURRATA cheese ever in South Africa. Puglia Cheese also introduced new cheese like Nodini and Sfoglia for the first time in South Africa, winning along the way to date over 20 South African Dairy Championships, over 30 Aurora Dairy Championships, 2 Qualite’ Awards (given only to top achieving producers) and a WORLD Award. Supplying the catering and retail business, launching in August in Pick n Pay and soon after in Woolworths. We are present in most exclusive delis all over South Africa and selected SPARs. Our new products are 6 months mature Artisan Farmhouse CHEDDAR and a new cheese called SOMERSET. We have two production factories, one in Cape Town and one in Pretoria. Puglia Cheese produces under HALAAL and KOSHER certificates with HACCP and GFSI implemented.
